Baby Safety and Babyproofing Checklist

    When to see a doctor

Trust your instincts. Get medical help now for trouble breathing, a fit (seizure), a high fever in a young baby, a rash that does not fade when pressed, a baby who is very floppy or very hard to wake, choking, or if your gut says something is seriously wrong. This tool is not a substitute for an infant first-aid course or your doctor.
