Hospital Bag Checklist

What to pack for labour, birth and the first day or two: one list for you, one for the baby and one for whoever is with you. Pack it from about 36 weeks. Your progress saves on this device.

Educational, not medical advice. This is a general packing list. Your hospital or midwife may have their own list. Many hospitals give you one at antenatal booking, so ask for yours and follow it too. It saves only on your own device.

When to go in

Contact your hospital or midwife if your waters break, if contractions are strong and regular, if you have bleeding, if the baby is moving less, or if you are simply unsure. It is always fine to call.
