Who Knows Mummy Best?

The mum-to-be answers ten fun questions about herself. She sends one private link to the people she has already told. Each guest guesses her answers and gets a score.

This is a game for fun. It is not medical advice and it does not ask about her health. The link is for people she has already told, and it is not a pregnancy announcement. The game runs on your phone, and her answers travel only in the link she sends.

When to see a doctor now

This game is about names and fun, not your health. Any bleeding, or a change in your baby's movements, means you contact your doctor or maternity unit straight away. Also go in for severe pain or a fall or blow to your bump.

How the game works

The mum-to-be answers ten questions about herself and her pregnancy habits. She gets one link to send to the people she has already told, in a family or friends group chat. Each guest opens the link, guesses her ten answers and sees their own score out of ten. Guests can send their score back to her on WhatsApp.

  1. The mum-to-be answers ten questions.
  2. She sends the link to the people she has already told.
  3. Each guest guesses her answers.
  4. Each guest gets a score and a result.

Who this link is for

This link is for people she has already told. It is not a pregnancy announcement. Please do not post it on a public page or in a group with people who do not know yet. Anyone who has the link can open the game, so send it privately, and ask guests not to forward it.

The questions are about her habits and her favourites. None of them asks about her health, the baby's sex or the baby's name.

What the link carries

The link carries her ten answers (one tap each) and her first name if she types one. It carries nothing else: no dates, no health details and no results from other tools. It sits after the # in the address, so it is never sent to our server or to analytics, and we store nothing. Anyone with the link can see her answers once they have guessed, so share it only with people she trusts.

Common questions

Is this a pregnancy announcement?
No. It is a game for people who already know. Send the link privately, and do not post it publicly.
Does the game ask about the baby's sex or name?
No. The ten questions are about the mum-to-be, her cravings, her habits and what she is looking forward to.
Can the host see everyone's scores?
No. We store nothing, so there is no scoreboard. Each guest can choose to send their own score back to her on WhatsApp.
Is this private?
Yes. Her answers travel in the link. We do not store them and we cannot read them.

Where this comes from
