What a clear-eyed woman does in each one
If a man is not safe
If a man controls you, threatens you or hurts you, believe what you are seeing and tell someone you trust. If you are in immediate danger, call 112. For confidential help in Nigeria, reach out to WARIF, the Mirabel Centre, or the Lagos State DSVA; in the diaspora, your local domestic-abuse helpline.

What your result means
Sometimes hope fills in what a man has not said. Sometimes caution closes the door too quickly. Your result shows which one you do more. It is not a verdict on you or on any man you are talking to, and it does not tell you what to decide. Delulu is not silly, and clear-eyed is not cold. The middle is where most good decisions are made.
- Certified delulu. You hear a maybe and plan the wedding. Your hope is lovely, and right now it is doing the work his actions should be doing. Next time he is vague, ask him one direct question before you decide what it means.
- Hopeful, one eye open. You give people room and you wait to see if his actions match his words. That is a good start. Put a date on the waiting, so hope does not turn into six months, and ask when you are unsure.
- Clear-eyed and still soft. You listen to what he says and you watch what he does. When something does not add up, you ask the question instead of guessing. Keep doing that, and keep letting good men in.
- Case closed. You do not wait around for a man to make up his mind, and you do not accept nonsense. Sometimes you close the door before he has had a chance to explain. Ask one question before you leave, so you go for the right reason.
